Organizers of the Next Titan Africa Reality Show have opened entries for young Ghanaian innovative entrepreneurs as it commences registration for the debut season of “The Change Makers“.

The reality show is a global standard television programme aimed at practically engineering entrepreneurship among Africa’s youth by identifying the best business minds and supporting their entrepreneurial acumen through financial and logistical assistance and other requisite support needed to propel them into successful business personalities.

Registration for the reality show which ends on June 2, 2023 is open to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 and 35. This is for entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas. They can compete in real-life entrepreneurial challenges to win the grand prize.

The winner takes home US$100,000 while the three other runners-up walk off with $10,000, $6,000, and $4,000 respectively.

Speaking at a press briefing in Accra, Executive Producer, of the Next Titan Africa in Ghana, Mide Akinlaja noted that the participants of season one will come from Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, and Nigeria.

The top 50 participants will be shortlisted after the audition stages in the four countries to engage in a one-week virtual boot camp. This will eventually lead to 20 finalists reaching the contest in Lagos, Nigeria.
“The 20 finalists that will make it to the reality house in Lagos where they would live together for 12 weeks facing different business tasks, will be gradually evicted until one winner and three runner-ups emerge,” he said.

Mide Akinlaja further indicated that each week, the entrepreneurs will be divided into two teams to tackle a business task led by their team leads. After completing each task, both teams will return to the weekly boardroom to discuss their experiences and report. A winner and loser will be declared.
“The winning team will be rewarded with a treat while the losing team will nominate some of their colleagues for eviction. Contestants will hang out with top business personalities across Africa on the show. Ghanaians should grab this opportunity to show their business talent to the rest of the world” he added.
