Ohemaa Woye Supa
Popular radio and television presenter, Esther Asamoah, popularly known in the showbiz scene as Ohemaa Woye Supa, was adjudged the Outstanding Young TV Personality of the Year at the 2021 edition of the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) held at the Marriott Hotel in Accra.
The award was in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the growth of the television industry in Ghana.
She was not only honoured for her achievement in the television industry, but also acknowledged for her humanitarian works to support the needy in the society.
The television personality, who believes her inclusion in this year’s GOWA is as a result of her hard work, commended the organisers for honouring her.
She expressed her profound gratitude to God and all her fans for the immense support she has had since joining the television industry.
“I am saying a big thanks to God for His blessings upon my life. I thank my fans for their support, I am grateful to them,” she added.
She expressed her profound gratitude to ASKOF Productions, organisers of the awards scheme, for recognising her efforts and contributions to the growth of the television industry.
“I am much grateful to God Almighty, the organisers and everyone who made this possible,” she stated.
She also thanked her executive producers as well as management of Angel TV for providing her with the needed platform for the growth of her career.
She promised to work tirelessly to maintain her image and brand permanently in the industry.
Last month, she won two awards including Best TV Show Host of the Year at 2021 edition of Ghana Art and Entertainment Awards held on September 24, 2021.
Ohemaa Woye Supa is the host of a cooking show on Angel TV dubbed ‘Supa’s Kitchen’.
The ‘Supa’s Kitchen’ is a television cooking show that interviews celebrities while cooking their favourite dishes. The show, which is different from other shows, is uniquely positioned, with a fusion of music and cooking.
On each show, the guests will be exhibiting their culinary skills amidst a very engaging conversation with Ohemaa Woye Supa on a range of relevant subjects, from career, business, and trending issues to family affairs.
Some of the personalities who have passed through the show include Mzbel, Vicky Zugah, Ohemaa Woye Je and a host of others.
