Ghana’s Black Stars have landed in Kumasi ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and the Comoros Islands.
The team was earlier scheduled to train in Accra yesterday before travelling to Kumasi to begin preparations.
However, some changes have occurred, with the players and technical team who left for the Garden City of Ghana yesterday and followed up with training later in the evening.
The FA stated, “The Black Stars Technical Team has made a change to the team’s schedule for the doubleheader against Madagascar and Comoros. The team will now fly to Kumasi on Tuesday morning instead of Wednesday.”
The FA added, “The Black Stars will hold its first training at the Baba Yara Stadium Tuesday afternoon.”
Ghana will host Madagascar this Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium in the opening Group I game and later travel to face Comoros for the second game three days later.
Ghana are hoping to make a fifth appearance at the World Cup after making it to Germany, South Africa, Brazil and Qatar.
