THE 2021 annual ‘Made in Taadi’ concert on Christmas eve in Takoradi recorded an impressive attendance.
The event, organised annually during Christmas festivities, is an initiative of Team Move Management and headlined by award winning highlife musician, Kofi Kinaata.
The show, which occurred at the Takoradi Technical University’s Park, recorded over 40,000 attendance according to the organisers.
The ‘Made in Taadi’ concert started in 2017 as part of efforts by Kofi Kinaata, a son of the area to make the Christmas festivities memorable for residents, particularly, his teeming supporters in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
It would be recalled that the concert did not come off last year due to the ban on public gatherings from the outbreak of the COVID- 19 pandemic.
The 2021 show saw thrilling performances from renowned artistes including Donze, Fameye, MzVee, Sefa, Mr Drew, Papy Kojo, Empress Gifty, Dopenation and Quamina MP, among others.
The fans cheered and jammed all night long.
Gospel musician Empress Gifty started the show with some gospel songs followed by artistes like Amerado, Kofi Jamar and Kweku Flick, Keche and Dope Nation, who all performed to the satisfaction of the fans.
Female artistes Sefa and MzVee were also amazing in their performances on the night.
The “Nothing I Get” hit maker, Fameye, together with fellow Westside artiste Pappy Kojo, were also superb in their performances.
The event came to its climax when the King of the Westside Legacy, Kofi Kinaata, mounted the stage and performed alongside his fellow Westside brother, Donze.
He performed his newly released song ‘Wopr3’ to the admiration of the crowd.
The song thrilled fans the most on the night to the extent that they called for more when Kofi Kinaata announced the end of the show.
