TUDEC Gives Out Beef To Muslims, Christians

The distribution in session

Muslims and Christians across the country last  Monday received parcels of beef from the Turkey Development Cooperation (TUDEC) to mark Eid-Ul-Adha.

The Turkish group has been performing the gesture over the years  during Eid-Ul-Adha.

At the Galaxy International School at East Legon many persons from all walks of life lined late in the afternoon to pick parcels of beef.

Management of TUDEC who have also held annual interfaith engagement to promote harmony and peace said the Eid gesture is a Corporate Social Responsibility on their part.

The association is synonymous with humanitarian activities and slaughtered 480 cows for this chapter of the annual gesture.

The annual activity ensures that even those who cannot afford it have meat for the Islamic festival.

This year’s celebration was done in collaboration with Time To Help Ev a non-profit organization based in Germany.

Recipients were all smiles as they walked away with their parcels of beef.
