African Drumming and Dance Workshop to take place in Anaji, Takoradi

The Creators Vault in Sekondi Takoradi will host a two-day African Drumming and Dance Workshop on the last Thursday and Friday of this month in Anaji.

In the helm of this cultural workshop affair will be Anomaa Cultural Group.

Attendees will be immersed in the vibrant rhythms and movements of African culture. The workshop is open to all skill levels, from experienced dancers and drummers to complete beginners. This means that regardless of one’s level in the art, there will be a place and seat for all.

“I’m excited to announce that I’m hosting another event with our friends, Anomaa Cultural group, said the organizer Esi Ayensu Mensah. “Join us for an unforgettable experience. Let’s come together to celebrate the joy of rhythm and movement!”

Participants can expect hands-on drumming sessions led by skilled instructors and energetic dance classes from members of Anomaa Cultural group. The events will celebrate community, culture, and creativity.

Organizers ask that participants bring one travel-size hygiene product for donation to the Sekondi prisons. Attendees should also bring a water bottle and towel to the workshop.

Both events will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Spots for the workshop are free with no charges whatsoever.
