Brago Cultural Group made up of talented performers is among a few cultural groups which are working tirelessly to promote traditional music and dance on the global music market.
Based on its outstanding performance in the creative arts industry, the group won the traditional music and dance group of the year at an event held last weekend.
The group emerged winner of the traditional music and dance group of the year category. It beat competition from six other groups to win the award.
The group was honoured at the event which brought together top-notch industry players including musicians, cultural groups, dancers, bloggers as well as a section of music fans.
The event was organized by Point Blank Agency to reward artistes, cultural music groups, stakeholders and other personalities who have contributed immensely towards the growth of the music industry.
The group has also made bold appearances in several cultural event held in most of the regions of the country.
It has also been involved in the promotion and development of traditional Ghanaian music and dance, and been instrumental in the training of several young men and women who are currently at the forefront of traditional/contemporary music and dance.
