Miller Kofi Adams
Residents of Adoagyiri, a suburb of Nsawam in the Eastern Region, were left in a state of shock when a lady in her early 20s exposed her own cousin, who was gay.
Adiza Fusseini was said to have walked in on her cousin as he was humping on a male partner in their family house last Sunday night.
Miller Kofi Adams was so engrossed in the romp that he did not notice Adiza as she gazed in amazement at her cousin engaged in a sexual activity with another male, who was later identified as Tanko.
Eye-witnesses said Adiza had set off from another area, Zangon Iliyasu, to her family house, with the intention of visiting her cousin. When she got to the house, she found the door unlocked, and walked in.
The young lady froze for a minute, out of shock, as she watched her cousin having sex with another man, and subsequently let out a series of screams that attracted a number of people to the scene, comprising mainly of the youth.
The crowd was said to have forcibly dragged the romping pair out onto the streets and subjected them to a mob attack.
It was gathered that Miller lost consciousness in the course of the mob action, with a yet-to-be-identified woman taking him to the hospital, after pleading with the youth amid tears.
Tanko, on the other-hand was beaten and dragged to the bank of the Densu River. It was said he sustained serious injuries and gashes to the head.
At the time of filing this story, the fate of the two lovebirds was unknown. However, the assailants showed no remorse after the attack, indicating that their action is geared toward purging the area of an abnormality.
Gayism/lesbianism is forbidden under laws in Ghana, and may attract serious consequences if the perpetrators fall in the hands of the usually homophobic youth.
